Divemaster
The Divemaster certification is the first professional certification and allows for you to plan, execute, and lead/supervise open water dives in conditions similar to previous training for certified divers. You will also be able to plan and execute emergency procedures appropriate for your dive location. In addition, you will be able to assist Instructors during approved diving courses in conditions similar to previous training.
To participate in the Divemaster course you must be at least 18 years of age. You must have a minimum of 20 logged dives and have additional experience demonstrated by earned specialty certification or documented additional experience. You will have to complete a watermanship evaluation and demonstrate dive supervisor level of knowledge of scuba diving. You will also have to demonstrate mastery of scuba skills. Before completion of the divemaster course you must have completed the Rescue Diver certification.
The Divemaster course starts at $1,100.

Become an Assistant Instructor, Instructor, or Instructor Trainer with the Scuba Professor.
Assistant Instructor
The Assistant Instructor certification is the second professional certification and will allow you to plan, execute, and lead/supervise open water dives in conditions similar to previous training for certified divers. You will also be able to plan and execute emergency procedures appropriate for your dive location. In addition, you will be able to assist Instructors during approved diving courses in conditions similar to previous training. Finally, you will be able to teach and certify students in certain courses and to conduct a scuba Refresher Course.
To participate in the Assistant Instructor course, you must be at least 18 years of age. You must have a minimum of 40 logged dives and have additional experience demonstrated by earned specialty certification or documented additional experience. You must have completed the Divemaster certification or have that training included during the Assistant Instructor course.
The Assistant Instructor course starts at $1000.
Instructor (Open Water Scuba Instructor)
The Instructor certification is the third professional certification and will allow you to plan, execute, and lead/supervise open water dives in conditions similar to previous training for certified divers. You will also be able to plan and execute emergency procedures appropriate for your dive location. In addition, you will be able to teach and certify students in certain courses.
To participate in the Instructor course, you must be at least 18 years of age. You must have six months of diving experience, a minimum of 60 logged dives, and have additional experience demonstrated by earned specialty certification or documented additional experience. You must have completed the Divemaster certification and Assistant Instructor certification or have that training included during the Instructor course.
The Instructor course starts at $1,700.
Instructor Trainer
The Instructor Trainer certification is the fourth professional certification and will allow you to plan, execute, and lead/supervise open water dives in conditions similar to previous training for certified divers. You will also be able to plan and execute emergency procedures appropriate for your dive location. In addition, you will be able to teach and certify students in certain courses. Finally, you will be able to teach and certify Open Water Scuba Instructors.
To participate in the Instructor Trainer course, you must be at least 21 years of age. You must have two years scuba training experience, a minimum of 200 logged dives, and have broad based teaching experience having taught at least 150 students.
