Take the Plunge?

The video explains the Open Water Scuba Diver course.

The first step to becoming a SCUBA diver is to get Open Water Certified. This training involves classroom learning about the underwater environment and the equipment we use. It also involves hands on training in the water. Expect three sessions of hands on training and real dives during this training.

If you are not sure if SCUBA is for you, you may want to participate in an experience that will let you experience what it is like to use the SCUBA equipment. If you don't like it then you have no more commitment. If you like it, you can move forward with the Open Water training.

This is the first certification level for Scuba diving. In this course you will learn about equipment and physics of diving. You will learn how to dive safely and sustainably in controlled conditions.

Training can range from $350 and up depending on your schedule and how you learn best.  Group discounts are available.

Trying SCUBA can be done in a pool or swimming hole. As long as the water is clear and shallow you can get a taste of SCUBA diving. Pricing depends on time and location is about $150.
